Sometimes, my friends and I found ourselves in trouble as a result of a paper airplane flying across the room during the middle of class - not exactly what the teacher had in mind as fun. We competed with each other on coming up with new designs from an 8.5 by 11 inch piece of paper. The plane could look good but if it didn't go far when you threw it in the air - who cares? Once I was at a Pittsburgh Pirate game at Forbes Field back around 1967 sitting in the upper level of the right field stands while the Pirates were warming up to start a new inning. Suddenly my eye caught a paper airplane descending ______continued. Things have come along way since then in what is available in toy planes for children, teenagers and grown-ups. Toy planes have always fascinated me; they are much more advanced now. Relive old times next time you're in the mall or shopping online - buy a toy plane. They are a lot better than the paper planes of yester year.
